EXPO 2020 Dubai trip photos

The 2-day tour of the Expo started at the Qatar Pavilion. The group received a warm welcome by their hosts at Qatar pavilion and enjoyed the usual Qatari hospitality and generosity.  The group were met and given a guided tour by a representative from Santiago Calatrava Architects & Engineers, the architects of the Qatar Pavilion.  

The third day was spent in Dubai on select architectural visits including a visit to the highest indoor rollercoaster in the world, the Storm at Dubai Hills by Cundall; the Melia Hotel by Zaha Hadid Architects, the Apple Store at Dubai Mall by Sir Norman Foster.  The group also visited the Jaquar showroom where they were given a tour of the latest luxury bathroom fittings and accessories and treated to a delicious lunch!
